Gifted, replace the spear prefix mod with a vamp mod, and the shield mod with a +10AL vs *type* or reduce blind duration.

yeah sure if you want to buy 6+ different r7/15AL shields to put it to good use. otherwise, nope.

I usually run:
* +2 Spear on head
* + 1 Command
* +1 Leadership
* Centurions on body and legs
* Survivor on head, gloves and boots
* Sup. Vigor and a vitae
The reasons for the mix Centurions/Survivor is that you have a 5/8th's chance of something hitting you on the body or legs, so I added extra armor there and the having Survivor's on the other 3 gives a decent +15 bonus health.
* Vamp spear, 15^50, +30 as my primary
* Sundering +5 energy +30 for when DP happens (or an energy denial area)
* bow for pulling
* staff for when DP reallly really gets high (so I can cast AR)
* q9 command shield with +10 armor vs. fire and +30 If you're able to find a q7 AL 15 shield, you can use a +1 spear on the head just like Gifted says-I should also note that this is the "recommended" shield set up, but most of the skins that met the AL/req needs look ugly in my opinion.
For blind heavy areas, I have a second shield with 20% reduce blind and gloves with 20% reduce blind also.

Agrees with Tyla. Furious mod is pretty useless on an imbagon because you'll always be in FA or FGJ. And im pretty sure that they don't stack, because if it did, then you'd have a chance for 4 adrenaline (or atleast 3 if it stack differently) gain on one hit when the furious mod trigger, but it never did when I first tried it.
It's nice to have +10AL vs all type of damage shields for different part, but for general PvE a +10 vs Fire Damage should be good enough, as that is usually the biggest damage you'll face in PvE.
Edit: a req7/15AL is nice to have, but not important enough to go out of your way to get it. A req9 is fine, with that spread you only have 1 less in spear mastery, so 13 instead of 14 spear mastery, not a major difference.

Basically what Shaz said. The main purpose of the imbagon is to pump out SY continously, killing things is the second goal, though a personal preference really but I keep a +30/blind shield as my main set.

I'd rather just buy +10AL vs. Fire instead of buy an overpriced mod that's bad.
Or even a -20% Blind.

I go with all centurion insignias on my para, but it doesn't really matter, it's PvE anyway.

you forgot the leadership rune...
Minor Spear (1)
Minor Leadership
Minor Command or Motivation (2)
Some type of Vigor (3)
Vitae
(1) On head
(2) Since the build doesn't actually have any Command or Motivation skills this rune is just for your shield, so get the rune that matchs your shield requirement
(3) Whichever you can afford. I tend to get alot of Major Vigor drops (and only 1 Sup Vigor in over 2 years of play...grrrr) so I use what doesn't cost me 15k.
As for the insignia's, yeah, it doesn't really matter. I personally have Centurion's and a Defence mod on my spear. You can go with Survivor/+30 Spear mod as well.
